This place is beautiful, I would happily return, the breakfast at the lovely bakery up the road has delicious food.

Irish bar, large and airy room with a kitchen and the reasonably sized bathroom, as for instance.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

The hotel of choice in Ghent. Gorgeous, generous breakfasts with a la carte cooked options, the lovely bakery up the road plus good coffee. Very nice boutique building and rooms with modern decoration. The pleasant and exceptional staff all round. Great and lovely location, short walk from Veldstraat Shopping, enjoyed this place. Found in a residential area really close to the river...

Cozy family room that had super comfy beds and a mini bar - just what we needed! It was right in the heart of things! 🌟

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed, a cool vintage bath and the wooden roof structure.
We were a bit lost, with not much of instructions on what to do in case we ran out of towls or what to do upon check-out. We also weren't aware if there were any house rules.

They promise free w-lan but it doesn't work, at least not in the upper floor, and the ladies who run the place were quite ignorant about the problem. Also, avoid rooms in the upper floor. It's under the roof and gets really hot. The hotel is more a b&b than a hotel. Its far from satisfying the standard of a place that costs 100€ a night.

Wonderful boutique hotel. No elevator, but the staff willingly carried our heavy bag up the narrow steep staircase. The room was exquisite: well decorated and very comfortable. A two-minutes walk to St-Michel bridge.

The breakfast here was really nice and not too expensive. They had a menu where you could pick what you wanted cooked, along with yummy bakery items and good quality ingredients. It's worth the money you pay for it! 🥐

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, willingly spent time explaining car parks, transport, locality. The room was boutique standard and the decor very pleasing. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any friends intending to visit Ghent
The only problem that we had were the stairs to the second floor We are both approaching seventy and found that the descent was rather tricky, in fact we had to ask the staff to help us with the luggage, which they did most willingly. It may be a good idea to ascertain the age/fitness of guests before giving them these rooms

The restaurant here was wonderful for breakfast, we both ordered delicious dishes. It had a good choice of facilities, including a private safe, a minibar and central heating etc. The location was peaceful and handy, at a walking distance from a Roman Catholic church.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
